An important part of the evolving eCommerce landscape is manufacturers selling directly to consumers. Gone are the days when a retailer, cataloger or eCommerce company was needed to make that connection. A modest investment in a Shopify or similar site can put manufacturers directly in touch with their customers – and Amazon is not about to be left out of the game.
